GENERAL QUESTIONS
How do I sign-in or create an account?
Click the "Sign-in" button located at the top right hand corner. You can use your email address or Facebook account to create an account on Vaunte.
What is a featured profile?
Featured profiles are selected and featured by Vaunte for their style and their contribution to fashion, culture and enterprise. If you’re interested in becoming a Vaunte featured profile, contact us at support@vaunte.com.
How do I find an item?
You find items by browsing the “Featured” or “Shop” and “Search” tabs:
• The “Featured” tab showcases Vaunte’s highlighted closets and items.
• The “Shop” tab reveals all items that are available on the site. Use the “Shop By” filters (left hand side) to easily find specific items.
• Use the “Search” box to directly access an item, brand, size, etc.
What happens if I “follow” someone?
You can follow a member if you love their style, closet, and especially if they are your size. Following a member allows you to be notified when the member lists a new item so you can be the first to know.
What if my size is not available?
Click “Not your size” link and enter your size to be notified if your size becomes available.
How does the “waitlist” work?
You can be notified if a sold out item becomes available by clicking on the “waitlist” button.
How does “Stalk this item” work?
Clicking the 'Stalk this item' button, allows you to save an item for later. It also allows you to receive emails once that item goes on sale.

You can view all of the items that you are currently stalking by going to your profile and clicking on the stalking circle, located on the right-hand side.
I used my 2 friend invitations – how can I request more invitations?
You can request more invitations at support@vaunte.com.
Is my information secure?
Absolutely. We take information privacy very seriously and ensure that all of your information is stored and transferred securely.

I forgot my password?
Click the "Password help?" link located on the log in screen. On the next screen, type in the email address associated with your account. You will receive an email with a link where you can change your password.

Access your Account page by clicking on your "Closet," located at the top right hand corner of the page, and clicking “Account” in the drop down menu.
How do I change my email address?
Access your Account page by clicking on your "Closet," located at the top right hand corner of the page, and clicking "Account" in the drop down menu. 

After submitting your new email address, we will send an email to your new email address. For your safety, you are required to click the link on the email for your new email address to be come active.
Do I need a Facebook account to shop on Vaunte?
No, you do not need a Facebook account to shop on Vaunte. You can sign up using your email address and a selected password.
How do I unlink or disassociate my Facebook account from my Vaunte account?
Access your Account page by clicking on your "Closet," located at the top right hand corner of the page, and clicking Account in the drop down menu. Click the "Unlink Facebook" button.
How do I change my email preferences?
Access your Account page by clicking on your "Closet," located at the top right hand corner of the page, and clicking "Account" in the drop down menu. Change your email preferences under, "Update Email Preferences."

What is Vaunte Buyer Protection?
Shop with confidence. We take responsibility for misrepresentation and unauthentic products purchased on Vaunte and facilitate all buyer and seller disputes within 14 days of delivery. Please contact support@vaunte.com to start a claim.
What if I receive a damaged item?
If the item is damaged, please contact us immediately at support@vaunte.com.

What if I receive a fake item?
Vaunte guarantees the authenticity of every single item sold on our site. We rigorously test every product with industry leading standards and stand behind our products 100%.
How do I return an item?
Vaunte currently only accepts returns on Vaunte listed items (as opposed to Member listed items) that are shipped within the United States. Please check the return policy on each item before purchasing. Vaunte listed Items that are eligible for return are limited to apparel and shoes ONLY – all handbags, jewelry, intimates, home goods and accessories are Final Sale and may not be returned unless in the case of fraud or damage. For any issues relating to fraud or damage, please contact us immediately at support@vaunte.com.

To return an eligible item, you just need to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and have the item sent back to us within 14 days following the date of delivery (Return Window). To request an RMA, simply visit your Orders page and click on the “Start a Return” link next to the item you would like to return. The “Start a Return” link will only appear for items that are eligible for returns (apparel and shoes) and still fall within the designated Return Window (14 days following the date of delivery).

Once your return items are received, you will receive a notification email confirming receipt. Processing can take up to 5 days so hold tight. If your return is approved, you will receive a notification email that your return was approved and a credit will be posted to your Vaunte account. The credit should appear on your Account page within 2 business days following approval. For all approved returns, the cost of the return shipment will be deducted from the issued credit.

Vaunte reserves the right to decline any returned items that are (a) returned without the original Vaunte tags intact, (b) have Vaunte tags or stickers that show signs of tampering or removal or (c) are shipped outside of the designated Return Window.

For any items that are not eligible for return, you have the opportunity to resell your item through our site. Please visit www.vaunte.com/sell to list your item.
How does Vaunte handle sales tax?
Sellers are obligated to collect sales, use or similar taxes on orders processed and sold through Vaunte and shipped within California state.
How do you determine the condition of your items, and what do the condition descriptions mean?
Our Authentication Team inspects each item and authenticates its quality. We have four categories depending on the quality: 

New With Tag: This is an authentic, pre-owned piece. This is a new item that has not been used and shows no signs of wear. Original tags or labels are attached to the item. There may be natural imperfections from manufacturer. 

Excellent: This is an authentic, pre-owned piece. There may be imperfections as it is a pre-owned item. This item appears to be in very good condition with faint wear. 

Good: This is an authentic, pre-owned piece. There may be imperfections as it is a pre-owned item. This item is in good condition but shows some signs of gentle-to-normal wear. 

Loved: This is an authentic, pre-owned piece. There may be imperfections as it is a pre-owned item. This item is in "loved" condition and may have obvious signs of wear. We see these flaws and blemishes as unique characteristics that are exclusive to vintage or previously owned items.

What happens if I don’t receive my package?
Your packages can be tracked on your Orders page. Click the UPS tracking link to find the estimated delivery date and location of your item.
How much does shipping cost?
New members will receive free ground shipping within the continental United States on all eligible Vaunte listed items purchased in the first 24 hours. Otherwise, shipping is based on the actual cost of shipping from the Vaunte Headquarters in New York City to the destination of the package. The exact cost of shipping is calculated at the time of purchase.
How long do items take to arrive?
We offer Next Day Air Saver, 3-Day Select and UPS Ground shipping options, depending on the item. Please check item listing before making final purchase.
How does free shipping within one hour work?
When you make a purchase with UPS Ground shipping, we offer free UPS Ground shipping on each additional eligible Vaunte listed item you purchase within one hour.
SELLING
Can I sell items on Vaunte?
Absolutely! Please visit www.vaunte.com/sell or download our iPhone app.

• Follow the directions and fields to post a description and photographs of the items you wish to sell.

• Please note: only items from our approved Brand list will be considered for sale.

• Once your items are approved for sale, they will appear on Vaunte 24-48 hours after they are processed through our photo production team.

• After your item sells, print a free shipping label and ship your item to the Buyer. Sold items must be shipped within 2 business days or penalties may be incurred.

• You will be paid 30 days after your sold items are delivered.
How do I pull money out of my Vaunte Cash Vault?
Please visit https://www.vaunte.com/profile/items/cash_out to access your cash vault. Please note that funds will only appear in your Account page and will be available for transfer 30 days after your sold items are delivered. If funds are not available, the 30 day period from which the item has been delivered may not have come to pass.
How do I remove my items?
Please visit: https://www.vaunte.com/profile/items to pause or delete your sale.

You must keep your item up for at least 7 days after it goes live or you may incur penalties. During the initial 7 days, items may only be available for sale through our site. After the initial 7 day period, you have the ability to continue the sale or end the sale and remove the sale posting. You must pause your sale if you think you will be unable to send it out within 2 business days after the item sells.

If you've sent any physical items to Vaunte under the VIP program or Starlet program, you may request items back for a fee. If any Product is requested to be returned to the Seller, the Seller will be required to remit a $5 Processing & Handling fee plus shipping charge per item for the return of any Product if the item is requested prior to the item launch date. If any Product is requested to be returned to the Seller, thereafter, the Seller will be required to remit a $15 Processing & Handling fee plus shipping charge per item.
